I was raised in the Bootheel of southern Missouri with the sounds of Southern Gospel, Classic Country, and a little Rock and Roll. The music of the rural Baptist churches I attended when growing up came alive with the sound of gospel harmony. I was struck by the emotion the music was able to evoke, a feeling that has stayed with me my whole life. When I first heard Bluegrass music I deeply connected with it. It embodied all of the musical sounds and culture from my childhood.

I was hooked on traditional Bluegrass and especially the sound of the BANJO. It makes me happy to play Scruggs and Clawhammer style banjo. I love Bluegrass music so much and am excited to share it with you.
